Hold my Order(s) FAQ

What is it?

This new feature allows you to hold your order(s) so you can combine multiple orders and pay ONE shipping cost!  

How does it work?

When you place your order use the code "HOLDMYORDER" at checkout - its that simple.  Any delivery method can be chosen, but your order will be held if you use that code.

When you are ready to have your orders shipped, email us at shop.okiedesignco@gmail.com. Include the name that your orders were placed under, as well as your order numbers (if you have them).  Messages sent to social media inboxes, comments on social media, or texts will not be answered.  Leaving a note on another order can be missed - or additional shipping may be required.

We will send you an invoice for your combined shipping amount.  Once your invoice is paid, your order will ship same or next day, Monday-Friday, or when all your items are ready to ship (in the case of a custom or preorder being on one of the orders).

ONLY ORDERS WITH THE HOLDMYORDER CODE WILL BE HELD OR COMBINED If you place an other without that code, it will be shipped WITHOUT any other orders combined with it. 

You should choose HOLD MY ORDER if...

*You want to have MULTIPLE orders combined and only pay one shipping cost. 

*You would like to shop on other days/sales and have the orders ship together.

*You want to time the arrival of your packages until after vacation.

You should NOT choose HOLD MY ORDER if...

*You only want to have one order shipped.  The shipping cost is the same if it's paid at checkout or if we invoice you later.  Doing this makes more work for both of us! 

How long can I hold my orders?

We will hold your orders for UP TO 30 DAYS. 

What if I forget to make shipping arrangements?

We will reach out to you when your 30 day time frame expires.  If we don't hear from you within 48 hours, your order will be refunded, minus a 30% restocking fee.  In some cases, your order will be held until shipping is paid, at our discretion.  

What if I meant to hold the shipping but I accidentally paid a shipping cost at checkout?

Only orders that use the code "HOLDMYORDER"  will be held or combined. If you paid for shipping, we assume you want that particular order shipped out - even if you have previous orders on hold.  EMAIL US IMMEDIATELY if you'd like to hold it.  We will try to change your shipping method, but if you have received a shipping confirmation already, your package is scheduled for pickup/drop off and in most cases we are unable to reverse it.  

Can I still get shipping protection on my package?

Yes!  You can still have your package protected with our shipping protection.  You must make sure you purchase protection on EACH individual order that will be included in your ONE shipment.   In the event that something does happen to your shipment, only the items that were purchased with shipping protection will be replaced.
